The massage was ok. I did the deep tissue massage but felt like she didnt work any of the areas I asked and still felt sore after. She used generic baby oil and lotion for the massage which will clog anyones pores. The table smelt like cat piss. Her scrub top was full of fur. She sits in a chair and you can hear it roll around the floor and it even banged into the table a couple times. And she left halfway through to use the restroom. You can hear people talking and laughing from the other rooms. Not very relaxing.

Jie Le was very good. She definitely worked on the areas that I had mentioned. I was cold as the table wasn’t heated and she put warm towels around my feet and on my back. It helped but then when they cool off it was a little chilly but I was getting to relaxed to talk. I had a hard time finding it. They kept selling me the upgrade. I did not want it and wasn’t impressed with so much oil being rubbed into me and patted that a proper massage I would expect. I did not want deep tissue but it was mostly too gentle.

I will NEVER go back to this place! I was very unhappy from the beginning: Jie was not ready for me at the time I reserved. BEFORE the massage started she asked for sales tax to be paid with my Groupon AND then mentioned “if I want to add tip to my card I could” …she asked me if I wanted a different massage other than what was on the Groupon and then said it would be another $10-20 more. Just before starting, without asking (“warning”) she grabbed my pants and pulled them down farther than I felt comfortable. She pulled fingers, cracked my toes, put her fingers in my ears, touched my head… rough/fast…not slow and gentle AND did something horrible on my back down to my ankles that felt like large concert drum mallets hitting me over and over and over again, pulled my arms behind my back like I was being handcuffed – ALL FAR FROM RELAXING. Then at the end, when Jie left the room, seconds before getting all my clothes back on, a MAN (I think her business partner) WALKED IN ON ME!!! He said he was sorry but … he didn’t knock or check before opening the door…damage was already done.

My boyfriend and I had the couples massage – purchased off groupon. He had Jie has his masseuse – he hadn’t received a professional massage before and he thought his was pretty good. I had a male masseuse and half way through the massage I really was starting to wonder if he was a professional and licensed. I have had numerous massages and have never had any of his “techniques” done to me before. At times, I felt like he was just moving his hands about and didn’t know what else to do. The space is located in a “mini-mall” of hair salons so the site was kind of weird, vey tight for a couples massage. It would be better for just one. Just doesn’t give the same relaxing feeling as other massages.

The the room was cold, not relaxing at all since I could hear kids running in the hall, the masseuse sneezed on me and I told him the pressure was too hard. When I said it was too hard he said this part is normally like that. I was in tears that night and could barely have my husband brush my back with his hands. My husband had no issues with his masseuse, hence the overall 2 rating.

That was the worse massage I have ever had. I’m questioning if she is even licensed, she had no idea what to do. And I was supposed to have a 90 minute massage and I was shorted about 10 to 15 minutes but I didn’t care because I wanted it over. And the table was so small, my arms kept falling off.

She didn’t show up for 8:30am appt. Sent her partner instead–(she could’ve called me & rescheduled!) He was nice but he didn’t know how to do the music so it was a massage in silence it with him talking. Awkward and not relaxing. Then she showed up after the massage was over (?!) and I was scolded for doing another Groupon. I told her that in the Groupon it says you can only do one couples massage. It says nothing about only doing one on the custom massage. Then she said she forgot to charge me sales tax so I was too told to pay $5 for a $40 massage, which is more than 7.125%. (Maybe she was charging me for my last visit, too. Which already had been fully paid (and tipped) or so I thought.) Unprofessional. She does do a great massage but I’m concerned that she won’t show up for the next massage and will charge me extra for something else she “forgot to charge”. Frustrating because her first massage was really helpful but this second experience has me wary.

Very sore and tight muscles in shoulders and back led me to search Groupon for a deal on massage. When I arrived and explained my situation, a hot rock deep tissue massage was recommended. Best massage ever! Soreness two days later is 80% gone. Going back in a week to try to get the remaining muscle “knots” unwound, then hope to return monthly. Like Jie said, it’s important to take care of your body 🙂

We booked a 90 minute couples massage same day which is almost unheard of to get same day. The ladies did a great job and consistently made sure we were comfortable. My only gripe about the experience was the size of the space. It was pretty small which made it a bit tricky for them to maneuver around. I would recommend them to my friends and family.

I had an amazing massage that really helped my pain and symptoms. The therapist listened to my issues and really worked on those areas. My only issue was that I felt like the promotion was a complication to the transaction and I’m not sure if I obliged myself to another appt. The terms were unclear and complicated. The therapist did her best to clarify and was extremely professional. It seemed that she had to overfunction to deal with the business aspects. Overall incredible massage though!

Therapist was excellent and knowledgeable in how she worked the knots and muscles from every angle (not just brushing over a knot or one or two times, like many therapists do). Room was clean, inviting and warm. My Massage is located inside Salons by JC — never been there before, but the design, layout and atmosphere of the little shops was beautiful — and although darker rooms are preferable for massage, and the window covering inside My Massage room wasn’t see-through, would’ve preferred that the room was on an inside wall so outside parking lot wasn’t still visible through the shade; however, the window covering is part of the room/building, so giving 5 stars on Ambiance. If you’re looking for a massage where you actually feel the knots being worked out, seeing Jie Li at My Massage is where you should go!
